Christian Bustamante Casting is seeking a talented actress for the lead role of Vivi in the upcoming short film “TAGA,” produced by Janet Yang Productions and CAPE. The film, which will be shot in Luzon, Philippines, tells the story of a young woman’s journey to connect with her heritage while confronting an ancient evil.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray Vivi, a curious and determined character, authentically as per the director’s vision.
- Work closely with the production team for approximately 7 filming days and 2 travel days.
- Deliver a performance that captures the essence of Vivi’s adventurous spirit and her struggle against a supernatural threat.
- Maintain the linguistic and physical requirements of the role throughout filming.
Character Requirements:
- Female, mid-20s, of Filipina-American, Canadian, Australian, British, or similar background; third culture kid.
- Must be comfortable speaking some Tagalog (beginner level is acceptable).
- Must have a valid passport for international travel through July 2025.
- Should embody a seeker personality: curious, adventurous, and sensitive.
Compensation:
- Rate: $241.00 per day.
- Includes roundtrip economy airfare, lodging, meals, ground transportation, and a per diem in local currency.
- Additional 10% fee applies if represented by an agent.
