Thibaut is a teenage boy growing up in the backwoods of Louisiana, forced to mature quickly due to family struggles. He navigates the challenges of protecting his younger sister while dealing with his mother’s dark secrets. This role requires a young actor who can authentically portray resilience, vulnerability, and emotional depth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray Thibaut, a 13-year-old boy facing the hardships of life in a troubled family, with moments of both strength and vulnerability.
- Participate in scenes that explore intense emotions, family conflict, and protective instincts towards his sister.
- Follow the director’s guidance to convey the character’s journey and relationship dynamics authentically.
- Attend rehearsals and be available for scheduled shooting days.
Requirements:
- Male, 13 to 18 years old (to play 13), Caucasian.
- Ability to convey a range of emotions, from strength and resilience to vulnerability.
- Experience in dramatic acting preferred, especially with emotionally intense roles.
- Cajun accent is a plus, but not required.
- Local hire only (Southeast Louisiana).
Compensation Details:
- Rate: $241/day + 10% agency fee.
- Compensation is in accordance with SAG-AFTRA Micro Budget Agreement standards.
