Casting Call for Young Basketball Player – “Young JJ” for “Project Sports Drink” Commercial

Job Description:
Project Sports Drink is seeking a talented and skilled young basketball player to portray the role of “Young JJ” in an upcoming commercial shoot. This non-union project will be filmed in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The role requires an athlete who can bring to life the story of a young and promising player from Northeast Philly who is determined to make a mark in the basketball world.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray “Young JJ,” a quick and dynamic basketball player with a passion for the sport and a strong AAU background.
• Demonstrate basketball skills, including inside-outside game techniques, speed, and agility during filming.
• Collaborate with the director and production team to deliver an authentic and energetic performance that captures the essence of a young, rising athlete.

Requirements:

• Male, aged 11-15, Black.
• Must have real basketball experience and the ability to perform on-court skills as directed.
• Comfortable participating in a full-day shoot (12-hour session) and a wardrobe fitting.

Compensation:

• Rate: $1750 for a 12-hour session, including the fitting.
• Additional buyout: $4000 for a 6-month term with options to renew for two additional 6-month terms.
