Job Responsibilities:
- Create original, high-quality fashion designs suitable for NYFW 2024.
- Prepare a selection from your recent collection to be reviewed at the casting.
- Work collaboratively with event organizers, models, and production teams.
- Attend fittings and rehearsals as required.
- Be present for the duration of the event and engage with press and attendees.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fashion design with a portfolio to showcase past work.
- Ability to create innovative and trend-setting designs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be available for the entire duration of New York Fashion Week 2024.
- Application through Eventbrite is required for the casting event.
Compensation:
- Selected designers will receive significant exposure at NYFW 2024.
- A stipend will be provided to cover the costs associated with the preparation and display of the collection.
