A feature film is seeking a Montreal-based actor to play the role of a spirited and sarcastic waiter in a comedic scene. Set within a chaotic European journey, this character adds a memorable comedic punch with just the right amount of attitude. Perfect for actors who can deliver quick, sharp moments that leave an impression.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a sassy, no-nonsense server who relishes delivering bad news with flair

• Bring humor and personality to a brief but impactful scene

• Deliver lines with a strong comedic edge and authentic accent

• Collaborate with the director for timing and tone during filming

• Represent a realistic and lively energy reflective of the film’s setting

Requirements

• Female actor, 30s–60s

• Must be a Montreal or Quebec local hire

• Must have a convincing Hungarian accent

• Strong comedic timing and facial expressiveness

• Experience in character roles or short-form performance is a plus

Compensation

• Actor Featured Role

• ACTRA Scale: $631.25 CAD/8 hrs, with overtime at $118.50 CAD

• 5-week production beginning o/a May 21, 2024

• Paid role in a scripted feature film with a strong creative team
