A comedic feature film is casting a Montreal-based actor for the role of Czech Officer, a former improviser turned local law enforcement officer. This character brings warmth, nostalgia, and humor to a key moment in the story as he allies with the cast to catch the villain in a surprising twist.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a Czech police officer who bonds with the improv cast over a shared past

• Deliver lines with charm, sincerity, and comedic timing

• Collaborate with the director and ensemble cast in a pivotal scene

• Represent cultural authenticity through accent and character portrayal

• Balance humor and heart while supporting the main storyline

Requirements

• Male actor, 40s–50s

• Must be local to Montreal or Quebec

• Must have a convincing Czech accent

• Strong acting ability with both comedic and heartfelt range

• Previous experience in featured or character roles preferred

Compensation

• Actor Featured Role

• ACTRA Scale: $631.25 CAD/8 hrs, with overtime at $118.50 CAD

• Paid opportunity in a professionally produced feature film

• Shooting begins on or around May 21, 2024
