Job Responsibilities
- Teach film and television production or sound design with Avid Pro Tools at the undergraduate level.
- Provide hands-on instruction in on-set production roles, including grip, lighting, camera, sound, art department, wardrobe, and more.
- Guide students in industry-standard editing software and post-production techniques.
- Help students develop technical expertise, set etiquette, and industry protocols.
- Foster a learning environment that supports industry best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in film and television production or post-production.
- Union production experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with recognized industry experience on professional Feature Film/TV sets, or:
- Significant industry-recognized experience (10+ years) in course-related content.
- Specialized training in course-specific skills.
- Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
