Featured Background Roles – New Feature Film
A major feature film is casting multiple featured background roles for a variety of unique and expressive characters. All roles will be photo-selected by the director, and talent must be available for a potential fitting and full-day filming. The production will shoot in the Atlanta, GA area and requires local hires only.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray background characters in realistic and emotionally grounded scenes
- Collaborate with the production team to match specific character profiles
- Follow direction precisely and maintain continuity on set
Requirements
- Must be able to work as a local hire in Atlanta, GA
- Must have full availability for filming and potential fitting dates
- No visible tattoos, gauges, piercings, unnatural hair colors, or current braids/styles (unless noted)
- Must have (or be willing to have) natural nails and lashes
Casting the following featured roles:
- Diner Cook: Black male, 30s–40s, warm, trustworthy, must have some cooking experience
- Diner Waitress: Black female, 18–22, waitress experience preferred, radiant and grounded
- BBQ Pit Workers: Black male, 20s–60s, vibrant, strong presence, BBQ/grilling experience preferred
- Housekeeper: Black female, 20s–60s, warm personality, grounded and trustworthy look
- Hattiesburg Woman: White female, 30s–50s, conservative, polished, upscale appearance
- Man Carrying Daughter: Black male, 20s–40s, conservative, real dad/daughter pair preferred
- Daughter Being Carried: Black female, 4–5 years old, cute and expressive, submit with real parent
- Amputee Industrial Workers: Black male, 20s–60s, amputee actors with visible limb differences
- Hattiesburg Teenagers: White teens, male and female, age 13–17, conservative, average look
- Hattiesburg Kids: White kids, male and female, age 6–12, conservative, everyday appearance
- Highway Host Maid: Black female, 60s–70s, frail but strong, hardworking with character face
Compensation
- $100 for up to 8 hours (guaranteed), plus OT after 8 hours
- Fitting pay: $25 for up to 2 hours (1/4 daily rate)
