Job Description
A SAG short film titled ASHA, directed by Moitri Ghosh and produced by Nekisa Cooper, is casting lead, supporting, and background roles. Filming will take place in the Atlanta, GA area. This deeply emotional story explores intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, and the path to reconciliation through the strained relationship between a mother, her daughter, and her granddaughter.
Job Responsibilities

Portray assigned roles with emotional nuance and cultural sensitivity

Attend scheduled in-person rehearsals and on-set filming dates

Collaborate with the creative team to deliver authentic, grounded performances

For background roles, maintain realism in non-speaking scenes with physical presence
