CASTING CALL: FIXIE CYCLISTS WANTED
Job Detail: Join us for an exciting opportunity to star in a commercial for a dynamic tech company that celebrates the spirit of fixie cycling! We are seeking energetic and skilled fixie cyclists aged 20-40 within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to feature in our upcoming commercial.
Job Responsibilities:
- Showcase your fixie cycling skills on camera, including skidding and riding with no hands.
- Participate in a brief audition on either August 10th or 11th (if shortlisted).
- Attend a wardrobe appointment on August 17th (approximately 2 hours).
- Be available for filming on August 18th-21st (one day only).
Requirements:
- Passionate fixie cyclist with excellent skills, including skidding and riding with no hands.
- Outgoing and comfortable in front of the camera for filming and interviews.
- No prior acting experience necessary.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be able to film in Toronto.
- Availability for audition, wardrobe appointment, and filming dates as specified.
Compensation Details:
- $75 compensation for attending the wardrobe appointment.
- $600 compensation for one day of filming (August 18th-21st).
- If your footage is used in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $3500-$6000 for its usage.
Important Notes:
- This is a non-union project.
- Self-submission is welcome, but if an agent represents you, consult them before applying.
- Application open to fixie cyclists in the GTA within the age range of 20-40.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for auditions.
- Wardrobe appointment is on August 17th and will require about 2 hours.
- Filming will take place on one day between August 18th and 21st.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and available for filming in Toronto.
