Coca-Cola Campaign Casting Call: Celebrating Filipino Balikbayan Tradition in Toronto

Job Description: We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for Filipinos residing in the Toronto area to participate in an upcoming Coca-Cola campaign. This campaign is centered around the heartfelt tradition of sending Balikbayan gift boxes to families in the Philippines. We aim to capture the authentic experience of Filipinos in Toronto as they prepare and send these boxes of love and care to their families back home.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a filming session in Toronto, showcasing the process of preparing a Balikbayan box.
• Be open to sharing personal stories and experiences related to the Balikbayan tradition.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure an authentic representation of your story.
• Allow the filming of the box’s reception and opening by your family members in the Philippines.

Requirements:

• Must be a Filipino adult residing in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
• Have family in the Philippines, preferably in Manila or within a two-hour radius.
• Both you and your family must be comfortable with being filmed for the campaign.
• This project is open to non-actors; we are looking for genuine stories and real families.

Compensation:

• Selected families will receive $5,000 CAD.
• An additional $2,000 CAD worth of items from Coca-Cola will be provided to include in your Balikbayan box.
• Location fees of $1,500 CAD for filming in Toronto and $750 CAD for filming in the Philippines.
