Casting Call: Individuals with Lived Experience of Blindness for Commercial
Job Description
A commercial production is seeking individuals with a lived experience of blindness to share their stories. This non-union project will be filmed in Santiago, Chile, and surrounding areas and will be featured across social media and official company channels for a one-year paid media campaign across Greater Europe.
Job Responsibilities
- Share authentic experiences and perspectives related to blindness.
- Participate in one day of filming, contributing to an inspiring and impactful campaign.
- Work with the production team to deliver a genuine and engaging performance.
Requirements
- Individuals aged 18–80 of any ethnicity.
- Must have a lived experience of blindness.
- Must have a valid passport for international travel.
- Comfortable sharing personal experiences on camera.
Compensation
- $400 per session (10 hours) + $60/hour overtime.
- $2,500 buyout pending final edit approval.
- $200 per travel/down day.
- $40/day per diem (prices in CAD, HST included).
- Travel, accommodations, and transportation fully covered.
- Chaperone provided with additional compensation ($200 per travel/down day) if needed.

Compensation

Wardrobe: $75 for up to 2 hours
