Job Detail: We are seeking New York-based actors, aged 20-30, with a visible and physical disability, to participate in a heartwarming Non-Union Bank Commercial. The commercial aims to showcase a group of friends, known as the “Plant Posse,” who share a passion for gardening and love to gather together to exhibit their plants. The casting requires explicitly one of the friends to have a visible disability, which could include using a mobility device (wheelchair, cane, crutches, etc.), a limb difference, a little person, a person with Down Syndrome, or any other visible physical disability.
Job Responsibilities: Selected actors will be part of a diverse and inclusive group of friends, portraying camaraderie and enthusiasm for gardening in the commercial. The commercial will focus on the genuine joy and connection shared between the friends as they interact and display their plants. The chosen actors must bring authenticity and positive energy to their roles while highlighting the importance of representation and diversity.
Requirements:
- Actors must be based in New York City or be able to work in NYC during the shooting period.
- Age range: 20-30 years old.
- Actors must have a visible and physical disability, as described in the casting call. Proof of disability may be requested during the audition process to ensure an authentic representation.
- Previous acting experience is preferred but not mandatory. We welcome newcomers with a genuine passion for acting and storytelling.
- Actors should be comfortable portraying a character who shares a love for gardening and can bring their unique personality to the role.
Compensation Details: Selected actors will be compensated according to industry standards:
- Talent Pay: $700 for a 10-hour shoot day.
