Job Description: We are casting for a Caucasian male, aged 50-70s, to play a dynamic, dancing Santa Claus for an exciting project. The choreography will range across various dance styles (Broadway, tap, hip-hop, salsa, modern, etc.), depending on the performer’s strengths. The Santa character must feel authentic while bringing energy, rhythm, and fun to the performance. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong sense of movement who can bring the magic of Santa Claus to life through dance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a dancing Santa Claus with authentic Santa-like qualities.
- Execute choreography as directed by the choreographer, adapting to different styles as needed.
- Be present and punctual for fittings, rehearsals, and shooting.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the character’s performance is lively and engaging.
- Travel to Austin, TX for the shoot and participate in all scheduled activities.
Requirements:
- Must be a Caucasian male aged 50-70s with a natural Santa appearance (white beard, round physique).
- Prior or current dance experience is required, with the ability to learn new choreography quickly.
- Open to performing in various dance styles (e.g., Broadway, hip-hop, tap, modern, etc.).
- Able to travel to Austin, TX for fittings, rehearsals, and the shoot.
- Must be comfortable with overnight shooting and late-night filming sessions.
Compensation:
- $500 per session
