We are seeking duos (couples, friends, cousins, siblings, classmates, parent & child, etc) and families, across Canada, with a story about how Lay’s chips have brought them joy.
Are Lay’s part of a special annual camping trip? A celebratory treat shared among friends. A staple of a family reunion? We are open to all kinds of stories!
We encourage submissions from the BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+ and disabled communities.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This is an NON-UNION project. No acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being interviewed on camera.
Strict COVID-19 safety protocol will be adhered to during the production of this commercial and it will be produced in accordance with public health guidelines at the time of filming.

To apply, you MUST be legally eligible to work in Canada.
To participate, you MUST be fully vaccinated.
- If shortlisted, you MUST be available on August 23rd for a brief online interview with the director.
- If selected, you MUST be available for a COVID test between September 19th – 20th. You will only be required briefly on one day.
- If selected, you MUST be available for filming between September 22nd – 30th. You will only be required for one day of filming.
- If booked, you will each receive $100 for a covid test appointment, and $750 for one day of filming. If your footage is in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $1,250 for its use. If filming takes place at your home, you will also receive $500 as a location fee.
