Job Description:
Miami Talent Casting is seeking men, women, and children for a hotel site commercial filming in Thailand. This project is open to individuals and families of all ethnicities and genders, and requires U.S. passport holders who are available to travel. We are particularly interested in casting “mermaid families” (mom, dad, and kids) who are skilled swimmers for specific scenes. This is a unique opportunity to participate in an international shoot with all travel expenses covered.
Job Responsibilities:
- On-Camera Performance: Act in various roles for the hotel commercial, including family-oriented and aquatic scenes.
- Swimming Skills (for Mermaid Family): If applying as a “mermaid family,” all family members must be strong swimmers for underwater or water-based scenes.
- Follow Production Schedule: Be available for the entire shoot period from November 19 – December 2, including Thanksgiving, and work collaboratively with the production team.
Job Requirements:
- Age Range:
- Adults: 20-60 years old
- Kids: 6-10 years old
- Passport Requirement: Must have a valid U.S. passport with at least 6 months before expiration.
- Availability: Must be available to travel and work during the specified dates, including Thanksgiving.
- Family Requirement for Mermaid Roles: For families applying as “mermaids,” all members (parents and kids) must be strong swimmers.
- Ethnicity and Gender: Open to all ethnicities and genders.
Compensation:
- Session Fee: $700 for a 10-hour day
- Fitting Fee: $75/hour (up to 4 hours)
- Travel Day Rate: $350
- Down Day Rate: $350
- Buyout Fee: $7,500 if talent appears in the final edit and content is used, with a second-year buyout option at a 10% increase
- Print Fee: $2,000 (if used), with a 10% increase if reused in the second year
- Per Diem: $50 per day
- Travel Benefits: Includes roundtrip premium economy airfare and reimbursement for U.S. airport transfers (with receipts)
