Job Description
A compelling short film is casting for Dex, an African American male in his mid-20s to mid-30s. Dex is a complex character—affectionate and bright at home, but a menace in the streets. After his mother’s untimely death, Dex took on the role of man of the house, making choices that straddle both care and danger. This role requires an actor who can balance vulnerability with a tough exterior and bring genuine depth to the character. A Clarksdale, MS accent is a plus.
