A feature comedy film is casting a Montreal-based actor for the role of Athlete, a powerful and visually striking Slovak shotputter. This featured role brings physicality and presence to a lively European block party scene, offering a fun moment of strength, surprise, and comedic charm.

• Portray a muscular Slovak female athlete in a festive town celebration

• Bring physical presence and confidence to the role

• Deliver lines or reactions with authenticity and comedic timing

• Embody the spirit of a national-level competitor in a lighthearted setting

• Contribute to the cultural and visual energy of the scene

Requirements

• Female actor, 20s–40s

• Must be local to Montreal or Quebec

• Must have a convincing Eastern European accent

• Strong and athletic build required

• Prior acting experience a plus, especially in physical or character roles

Compensation

• Actor Featured Role

• ACTRA Scale: $631.25 CAD/8 hrs, with overtime at $118.50 CAD

• Paid on-camera opportunity in a professionally produced film

• Filming begins on or around May 21, 2024
