This role requires executing basketball drills, handling the ball, and performing realistic plays against a taller defender. Competitive basketball experience is required, with a preference for D1 players.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a basketball stand-in during the commercial shoot
- Execute drills, handle the ball, and perform realistic plays
- Follow direction from the production team to maintain continuity
- Be available for rehearsals and shoot dates
Requirements
- Male, ages 18-35, all ethnicities
- Must be an excellent basketball player, preferably with D1 experience
- Minimum height of 5’8″ with fair complexion
- Strong grasp of basketball plays and terminology
- Must be available for all scheduled travel and shoot dates
Compensation
- Session fee: $600
- Travel day rate: $300 (February 15 & 18)
- Rehearsal rate: $600 for 10 hours (February 16)
- Shoot rate: $600 for 10 hours (February 17)
- Per diem: $60 per travel day + $60 for two working day dinners
- $60 towards ground transportation, totaling $240 for out-of-state talent
