Job Description: Jigsaw Casting is seeking women aged 38 to 63 to share their personal experiences with menopause symptoms for a public service announcement (PSA) for Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. This PSA aims to raise awareness about menopause and its impact on women’s health. We are looking for diverse, real, and relatable women who can convey raw vulnerability in a documentary-style setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Share personal stories and experiences related to menopause symptoms.
- Deliver authentic and heartfelt performances on camera.
- Participate in a documentary-style filming process, showcasing genuine emotions and experiences.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the PSA.
Requirements:
- Women aged 38 to 63 of diverse backgrounds.
- Must be comfortable sharing personal experiences and displaying vulnerability on camera.
- Ability to convey real and relatable emotions.
- Non-union talent only.
- Must be available for a recall via Zoom on August 26 and for wardrobe fitting on either August 30 or September 3.
- Availability for the shoot on September 4 and/or 5 (talent may be required for 1 or 2 days).
Compensation:
- $2,500 per person if selected.
- Additional session fee of $600 if required to shoot an additional day.
