Casting Call: Feature Speaking Role for Commercial

Job Details: We are casting for an upcoming commercial and are seeking a talented actress to play the role of “ZUMU”. This is a speaking role that requires the portrayal of an engaging and dynamic character. The commercial will be filmed in Toronto.

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn and deliver lines as per the director’s specifications.

• Participate in rehearsals as scheduled.

• Work closely with the director and other actors to develop the character and ensure a cohesive performance.

• Attend costume fittings and makeup sessions as required.

• Be available for the entire shooting schedule and any additional dates for reshoots or promotional activities.

Requirements:

• Gender: Female

• Age Range: 50-75 years

• Ethnicity: Filipina, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, or broadly Asian

• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to speak convincingly in front of the camera.

• Previous acting experience in speaking roles is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must be able to work in Canada.

• Availability during the shoot week of May 27th and flexible for callbacks as needed.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $500 base + $2500 for usage rights (broadcast and digital for 6 months, all inclusive)
